Law Clerk
Camila received her undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and Family Studies. She is currently a 2L at DePaul College of Law and is the Vice President of the Latino Law Student Association and the Social Chair for the Child and Family Law Association at the school.Camila’s passion for advocacy has led her to join the Appellate Moot Court Society, where she has excelled in oral arguments and legal writing. She was a Finalist in the Hon. William J. Bauer Moot Court Competition and was the recipient of the prestigious Best Brief Award.
Camila has also externed for the former Presiding Judge of the Domestic Relations Division, the Honorable Grace G. Dickler. In that role, she conducted research on complex family legal issues. This experience has helped her to develop a deep understanding of the emotional and practical considerations that are often at play in family law cases, and has given her the tools to provide compassionate and effective assistance to clients at Arami Law.
